Lipid Business

In our Lipid business, we provide CDMO services for lipid nanoparticles (LNP)/liposomes, and a variety of phospholipids for LNP/liposomes, as well as Presome™ which enables easy preparation of liposomes.

From April 1, 2023, we open a new research base, " Shonan Lab", in the Shonan Health Innovation Park in Fujisawa City, Kanagawa Prefecture, and promote open innovation activities to continue delivering new value to the pharmaceutical industry.

Shonan Health Innovation Park ( Shonan iPark ) is Japan's first pharmaceutical initiated science park, established in April 2018. It aims to become a place where industry, government, and academia from a wide range of industries and sizes can come together to accelerate innovation in health care field.

In addition to pharmaceutical companies, 150 companies and organizations with more than 2,000 people, including next generation medicine, AI, venture capital, and government, form an ecosystem.

Nippon Fine Chemical Lipid Business has experienced drug encapsulation to many kind of liposomes using high-purity phospholipid series manufactured in-house.
NFC's Presome series is also available and we can provide services that meet customer's needs.
