Our Division has concentrated on rather complex molecules, such as active pharmaceutical ingredients, agricultural chemicals, and photo-chemicals. Since year of 2000, we have started to supply “Presome”, a precursor of liposomal drug, prepared under the c-GMP conditions approved by both Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and European Medical Evaluation Agency (EMEA). 　Based on this c-GMP readiness, we could also offer custom manufacturing of bulk pharmaceuticals and their intermediates upon customers’ request. 　To achieve those activities including preparation of multi-functional chemicals and various pharmaceuticals, we have fixed a multi-purpose fine chemicals plant as well as a dedicated plant for the preparation of clinical trial drugs and investigational new drugs. These plants could achieve some characteristic reactions such as ultra-low temperature reactions, hydrogenations, optical resolutions, asymmetric reductions, cyclization reactions, enzyme catalyzed reactions, and glycosylations, which are the part of NFC’s core technologies.
